Great Breakfast at Hollywood Studios (Our Top 5!)

Great Breakfast at Hollywood Studios (Our Top 5!) Dining 1

With the new boarding system in place at Hollywood Studios for the Star Wars Rise of the Resistance Ride, visitors are arriving early to the park and need to grab breakfast at Hollywood Studios after getting their Boarding Group. In the past, some families may have had breakfast before coming to this park but now need to know what options they have.

Below I have covered the best locations to grab something if you are planning on hanging around the park until your group is called or for those families that are spending the day doing other attractions.

Currently, there are five places that serve breakfast at Hollywood Studios:

  • Hollywood & Vine
  • Woody’s Lunchbox
  • Docking Bay 7
  • Oga’s Cantina
  • Ronto Roasters

1. Hollywood & Vine

If you are looking for a good breakfast with awesome character interaction then you have to check out Hollywood & Vine.  We have dined there 2 times and would do so in the future as well. Hollywood & Vine offers a buffet with plenty of options for everyone in your family.

Personally, my family loves buffet dining so that we can all get what we want and also gives more picky eaters an opportunity to try new things without having to order a whole meal.

Pricing for this character meal is $41 for adults and $24 under 10.  They serve breakfast fro, 8 am, through 10:20 am.  The first time that we dined there it was our daughter’s 5th birthday. She was at the prime age to meet Disney Jr characters: Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Jake (from Jake and the neverland pirates), and Handy Manny.

When we made the reservation we told them that we were celebrating her birthday and they gave her a birthday card with all of the characters signatures. She was so star struck!

2. Woody’s Lunchbox

Located in the new Toy Story Land, Woody’s Lunchbox is a great option if you are looking for something a bit quicker than a character breakfast. They offer sweet treats like a Chocolate Hazelnut Lunchbox tart, think fancy pop tart, to something a bit more hardy like:

Breakfast bowl – Potato Barrels smothered in Smoked Brisket Country Gravy, Scrambled Eggs and a sprinkling of Green Onions. (a family favorite)

S’mores french toast sandwich – Marshmallow and Chocolate Ganache stuffed in Grilled Custard soaked Brioche encrusted with Graham Cracker Crumbs.

Smoked turkey sandwich – Smoked Turkey Breast, Melted Swiss Cheese, and Scrambled Eggs on Grilled Sourdough.

We like to grab a quick breakfast here while waiting for our favorite Toy Story Land rides. Because currently, Woody’s Lunchbox is one of the only places in Toy Story Land to get a bite to eat the lines can be long. One tip that I can offer is to use the Mobile Ordering service. You can place your family’s order and walk right up to the window and pick it up without having to stand in a long line. This is also great if you have to use standby lines for Slinky Dog or another favorite ride.  All of their offerings are reasonably priced at under $9 for the adult portion and under $6.50 for a kids portion.

***Now if you find yourself on the planet Batu you will want to check out the following 3 options

3.  Docking Bay 7

Located in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Docking Bay 7 offers some great options for breakfast.  The fan-favorite seems to be the Bright Suns Breakfast platter offering a Three-Cheese Egg Bite, Pork Sausage, Purple Potato Hash, Mini Mustafarian Cinnamon Roll. That’s sure to fill you for a day of exploring this new planet. If you are looking for something a bit lighter then I would go for either just the Mustafarian Cinnamon Roll or Tugg’s Overnight oats. Pricing for this location is $11 and under and they offer mobile ordering as well.

4. Oga’s Cantina

Oga’s Cantina is an attraction all of its own. You will need to make reservations for this location far in advance because it is one popular spot all day long. This is more of an experience than a restaurant as they only offer the Mustafarian Cinnamon Roll and Rising Moons Overnight oats.  This is also the only place that you will be able to get the famous ‘Blue Milk’

5. Ronto Roasters

This Fan favorite has one of the absolute best breakfasts in Galaxy’s Edge! The Ronto Breakfast Wrap is by far the best thing on the planet of Batu. Eggs, Grilled Pork Sausage, Shredded Cheddar, and Peppercorn Sauce wrapped up in Pita Bread. Everyone believes that it’s the sausage that makes this wrap out of this world. This fantastic dish is only offered until 10 am so you will want to make sure and get your place in line or take advantage yet again of mobile ordering.

Bonus – Trolly Car Cafe & Joffrey’s

We can’t talk about breakfast without talking about the 2 great coffee shops in Hollywood Studios.

Trolly Car Cafe – The location for your Starbucks needs while in Hollywood Studios. I myself am a Starbucks fan and I think it’s fantastic that each of the parks has a Starbucks location so that I can get a favorite caffeinated beverage to get me through my day at the park. They also offer great baked goods for a quick bite.

Joffrey’s – Before coming to Disney World as an adult I had never heard of Joffery’s coffee, but once I tried an iced coffee there I found out that they have some great coffee options! Their Hollywood Studios location can be found by the exit of Tower of Terror.

Conclusion

While Hollywood Studios doesn’t have a ton to offer for breakfasts compared to other parks, you are sure to find a great meal at any of these locations. I am sure that once you try some of the great offerings you will be sure to find some family favorites.
