We’ve all been waiting to hear if there would be a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year, and while that won’t exactly be the case, we do have something to celebrate. I am very excited to announce a new Halloween-themed Disney After Hours event coming this fall to Magic Kingdom Park!
During select nights between Aug. 10 – Oct. 31, Disney After Hours: BOO BASH will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight. Among the Halloween celebrations that will take place is a Halloween-themed cavalcade, character sightings throughout the park and special performances by the Cadaver Dans, décor, lighting and music, treat stops with plenty of sweets, and more!
With the Disney After Hours BOO BASH tickets you are permitted to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7 pm, allowing you to catch even more of your favorite attractions.
Everyone can enjoy Halloween candy and dress up in a costume. You are reminded that costume masks are only allowed on children under the age of 14; they are not permitted on adults. Guests must also wear approved face coverings during the event. Before you arrive, check Disney’s Know Before You Go page and Costume Guidelines to make sure you are in line with Disney costume guidelines.
For those of you unfamiliar with Disney After Hours, it’s a special event that’s confined to a limited number of guests after the park’s regular open hours. Throughout the park, you’ll find low wait times for more than 20 rides including the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and classics like the Haunted Mansion. All are in for a ghostly good time!
Walt Disney World Resort guests will have an early purchase window to purchase tickets next month. More information about this event can be found here. We don’t know much yet in the way of details like pricing, but that will be announced soon enough. Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog as additional information becomes available about the “Disney After Hours BOO BASH” so you’ll know the latest tricks and treats.
The Disney Parks Blog will be adding more information about the upcoming Halloween offerings from Disney Parks around the world.
*Some event nights in August and September will be from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
