Walt Disney World Railroad

These four steam-powered trains give you a full tour of the Magic Kingdom on the Walt Disney World Railroad. Taking you through all of the different lands and completely circling the park. Walt Disney’s enthusiasm for railways began when he was very young one of his first jobs as a teenager was selling newspapers on the Missouri Pacific Railway. Later he wanted to create his own miniature railway in his backyard.

Walt Disney World Railroad

Most avid Disney fans know that there were two key moments that Walt was inspired to build his theme park. The first was an afternoon on the merry-go-round with his daughters and the second was the construction of the Carrollwood Pacific Model Railroad in his own backyard.

This is a great ride to take the little ones on or just to rest your feet. We never miss out on this when we take a trip to the Magic Kingdom.
