Dining

Food Courts:

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the resort’s main food court, offering a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. From beignets and gumbo to jambalaya and po’boys, the menu at Sassagoula Floatworks offers a taste of New Orleans that will delight your taste buds.
In my opinion this is one of the better food courts at the resorts and has a lot of good options in a fun atmosphere. There are all kinds of great Marie Gras memorabilia throughout the food court.

Table Service

Although the resort doesn’t have a table service restaurant, Disney Springs is a short boat ride away where there are tons of options for a sit down meal.

Bars & Lounges

Port Orleans French Quarter has two bar options, Mardi Grogs is the pool bar and Scat Cat’s Club is inside by the main lobby.

Mardi Grogs offers alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as small snacks right outside the Doubloon Pool with a small amount of seating. Scat Cat’s is where you will find those man catching Beignets!! They have a small walk up that is open during the day with limited beignet options and then the lounge opens at 5pm with drinks and specialty beignets like the boozy beignets! There is limited seating here too but a super fun environment and of course, beignets!

Recreational Options:

Pool

The resort’s only pool is called the Doubloon Pool and it is super colorful and fun. It includes a giant serpent water slide with King Triton steering the huge creature. There are also alligator musicians, a splash zone for smaller swimmers that includes a smaller water slide and so many fun Mardi Gras themed touches!
