When you think of Walt Disney World, your mind might immediately go to the Magic Kingdom. This makes sense; after all, there are so many classic Disney attractions at this park that it’s not hard to see why everyone loves it. But what about Epcot?
Most people only visit the Magic Kingdom when they come to Disney World – but why would anyone waste their time at a theme park that lacks timeless rides like Space Mountain or Peter Pan’s Flight? Well, believe it or not, there are plenty of reasons for you to get excited about Epcot – and yes, even get excited enough to want to spend an entire day here! So is Epcot worth it?
If you’re only going to Disney World for one day or even just a few hours, then don’t bother with Epcot. It really requires a full two days to enjoy everything this park has to offer.
On the other hand, if you’re staying at Disney World for five or more days, then it really is worth your while to make sure you’ve got your ticket ready and your bags packed.
Being able to enjoy time at both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot gives families a lot of great benefits. For example, the children in your family might not be into thrill rides that are found in the Magic Kingdom; but they’d probably love something like Spaceship Earth or Journey Into Imagination with Figment. These are ride experiences geared towards older kids and young adults who prefer educational adventures over hair-raising action.
On top of all this, there are several different festivals held throughout the year, which means there always some kind of celebration happening
Is Epcot Worth Going To In 2022 and Beyond?
All right, so you don’t want to visit Epcot because you say that they have a limited amount of rides. Both Soarin’ and Test Track are popular rides that use amazing technology to make each experience feel real. There’s also an entire World Showcase with tons of interesting sights from around the globe! Of course, if you’re not interested in exploring other countries or learning about their culture then maybe these attractions won’t be your cup of tea. But most visitors always have a great time at Epcot.
Is The Food Good At Epcot?
If you’re more interested in the food at Epcot, then you’ll be happy to know that they have some of the best restaurants in all of Disney World. There’s everything from French and Italian cuisines to classic American cuisine – and it’s all delicious! You can also find some amazing cocktails and beers while walking around the countries, but if you want something a bit sweeter, try one of their refreshing fruit smoothies!
The food at Epcot is definitely worth talking about. The portions are usually pretty big, so it might take you a while to finish – but the flavors are always well balanced and completely delicious!
Is Epcot Boring?
So if there are rides and amazing food, then what’s the problem? Well, Epcot isn’t boring, but some people might find that Epcot is boring because you’re not going on any traditional Disney rides.
There aren’t many places where you can drop by for a few minutes while waiting for your Genie Plus time either. Instead, there is simply too much to explore and it makes it difficult to get from one country to another – especially when they’re at opposite ends of the park!
How Old Should Your Kids Be to Go to Epcot?
Any age can go to Epcot and have a great experience. That being said, it definitely helps if your child is older than five years old. Seven and up is ideal so they can really appreciate the educational value of each World Showcase country as well as all the amazing adventures throughout Future World.
But if you’ve got younger kids who still love Disney movies and shows, then there are rides like Journey Into Imagination with Figment that will allow you to enjoy Epcot without them feeling bored or left out! This ride might be kid-friendly, but it’s just as much fun for adults too!
Can You Do Everything At Epcot in One Day?
You definitely need at least two days if you want to do everything at Epcot – but even with just one day it’s still possible! Make sure that you get there early in the morning, even before the park opens. This way you can go on all of the rides in Future World with little to no lines. Once it gets later in the day, head over to World Showcase where you can eat some amazing food and explore other countries!
Is Epcot Worth The Money?
Epcot is Disney World’s second park, so it’s usually cheaper than the Magic Kingdom. That being said, you’ll still need to save up because there are lots of great rides and experiences at Epcot that will keep your family entertained for hours!
Even though Epcot has several different festivals throughout the year, there isn’t an admission fee to experience them. If you’re visiting during special occasions like Flower & Garden Festival or Food & Wine Festival then admission tickets may be more expensive – but they’re definitely worth experiencing if you love food and flowers!
In short, Epcot is a unique part of Disney World where families can learn about culture from all over the world while enjoying delicious food and unique rides! While not everything in Epcot will appeal to all types of visitors, there’s a little bit of something for everyone here.
If you’re not sure whether or not Epcot is for you, then visit Magic Kingdom first! You’ll be able to see firsthand how good that theme park is, and if that still doesn’t convince you, then definitely give Epcot a chance next time you go to Disney World.

General Carry Items: These are probably some of the most important things that everyone should have with them at Disney World.
A Good Pair of Disney Sunglasses – (I use this cheap pair all the time)
Every Day Chapstick – (I always have this on me anyway)
Sunscreen – (This is my Every Day Carry Sunscreen Ladies)
A Good Pair Of Sandals: Ladies, there’s nothing like a good pair of sandals like these in the parks. That way when it rains and your feet get wet you aren’t stuck walking around in a wet pair of sneakers all day.
Portable Neck Fans: These are just the most amazing little invention that you NEED to have at least for the kiddos. They charge via USB and are highly recommended, especially if you are going in the summer heat. You can check them out over here on Amazon.
