If you are like us, when we go to Disney Springs we like to just walk around and not really be on a schedule. Not that planning a dining reservation is a bad thing, but sometimes we like to just go with the flow and grab something quick so that we can enjoy our time there. Below I will talk about some of our favorite places to grab a quick meal or snack while at Disney Springs.
1. The Basket at Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George is a fantastic restaurant in Disney Springs and we were thrilled that they offer a quick service option for when it’s tough to get a reservation or you are just looking for something quick to grab and go. My favorite thing to get at the Basket is the Charcuterie.
It has a fantastic selection of meats and cheeses. You also can’t go wrong with a glass of wine on tap or a frozen treat like a Frozcato (Dole Whip, Moscato, and vodka). They are open from 12pm to 9pm and their menu can be found here.
2. D-Luxe Burger
If you are in the mood for a burger then D-Luxe burger is the place you have to go. They have a fantastic selection of burgers and they are all served with fresh-cut fries with house-made dipping sauces. My husband loves all things spicy.
His favorite burger to get is the El Diablo burger which has a spicy Chorizo and Beef Patty, Fried Banana Peppers, Pepper Jack cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onion, and Chipotle Mayonnaise. Their shakes are also a favorite of our daughters. I mean what’s better than a burger and a shake? They are open from 11am to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
3. Cookes of Dublin
If you have ever dined at Raglan Road then you are sure to love Cookes of Dublin. They offer a lighter fare than Raglan Road but you can still get their fabulous fish and chips. This is a place that I would go out of my way to have that Dish, many have said that they have the best fish and chips on Disney Property. They are open from 12pm to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
4. Blaze Pizza
Our daughter loves pizza and it is usually one of her favorite things to order when we go out to dinner. She has tried many pizza places in Disney and she loves Blaze the best. I think it is because you get to totally customize your pizza from start to finish and they do it all in front of you like a popular chain sub shop.
If you don’t want to choose your own toppings they have a great selection of specialty pizzas. One of my favorites is the Red Vine – Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Parmesan, Basil, Red Sauce, and an Olive Oil Drizzle. They are open from 11am to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
5. 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck
In the Orlando area, there is a great Smokehouse called 4 Rivers. They have opened up a food truck at Disney Springs on the West Side area near the Amphilli Balloon. They offer authentic Mexican-inspired dishes that everyone will enjoy.
Their tacos and burrito bowl are some of my favorites. They are only open for limited hours like the other food trucks. Their current hours are from 5pm to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
6. The Polite Pig
My family loves good BBQ and we found a really good place at Disney Springs. The Polite Pig offers some great smokes entrees of chicken, pork, ribs, and turkey to brisket, sausage, and even salmon. They also have some fantastic sides to go with your meal.
We really love the street corn and BBQ waffle fries. They also offer sandwiches and salads if you are looking for something a bit lighter. They are open from 11am to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
7. Chicken Guy
I absolutely love Guy Fieri, he is a hoot to watch on TV. So when I found out that he was opening a restaurant in Disney springs I knew that I had to try it! We love to just get the chicken tenders our favorite sauces. Speaking of sauces… they offer 22 different ones so there is sure to be something for everyone.
Their sauces are… Special Sauce, Donkey Sauce, Ranchero, Curry Mayo, Wasabi Honey, Cumin Lime Mojo, Garlic Parmesan, Avacado Crema, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ, Buffalo, Blue Cheese, Buttermilk Ranch, Lemon Pepper, Honey Mustard, Teriyaki, Sweet N’ Sour, Chipotle Ranch, Nashville Hot Honey, Peri-Peri, Habanero Hot Sauce, Spicy Mayo, and Sweet Sriracha BBQ.
My personal favorites are the Avacado Crema – Avocado + Sour Cream + Cilantro + Lime and the Doney Sauce – Mayo + Roasted Garlic + Mustard + Worcestershire + Lemon. They are open from 9:30am to 9pm. Their menu can be found here.
8. Earl of Sandwich
If you are looking for a lighter meal and just want a sandwich or salad then you should check out Earl of Sandwich. They have a large selection of delicious options. A favorite is the Chipotle Chicken and Avacado.
You get a little heat but the Avacado blends the spice nicely. They often offer seasonal sandwiches. Typically int the fall they have a turkey sandwich with all the thanksgiving day fixings on it. They are open from 10am to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
9. BB Wolfe’s Sausage Co
Located near the Marketplace area of Disney springs BB Wolf’s Sausage Co offers a great place to grab a quick bite. Offering a variety of hotdog and sausages there is always something new to try. I like to get the Three Little Pigs – three mini versions of their Specialty Dogs: Pastrami Reuben Dog, Hawaiian Island Dog, and Texas Chili-Cheese Dog. They are open from 12pm to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
10. Morimoto Asian Street Food
The quick-service location offers Pan-Asian style street foods similar to the main restaurant. They have some of the best Sushi in Disney Springs according to some. Personally, I am not a fan of Sushi but their Ramin and egg rolls are out of this world. They are open from 12pm to 8pm and their menu can be found here.
11. Hot Diggity Dog Food Truck
Disney has two food trucks that they own and operate and this one is totally a fan favorite. They offer some great combinations of toppings on hot dogs. They also offer special “secret menu” hotdogs that you have to ask for.
Recently they had a special King Dog that according to people on Tic Tock you had to sing the Hot Dog Song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Like other food trucks they are open from 5pm to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
12. Mac & Cheese Food Truck
The other Disney owned and operated Disney food truck is the Mac & Cheese food truck. Yes, I know it’s mac and cheese… but it’s not… its really good mac and cheese. The Mac & Cheese fritters and the Lobster Mac and cheese are two options that you can’t miss! Like other food trucks they are open from 5pm to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
13. The Daily Poutine
If you have never had Poutine then you are missing out. Bring that we live up north and somewhat close to Canada we have restaurants close by that have this on their menu. Honestly, some are not good. If you want to try some really fantastic Poutine without having to go up to Canada then you should try this restaurant.
While the Classic – French Fries, Beef Poutine Gravy and Cheddar Curds is really good I prefer the Loaded Poutine – French Fries, Queso Blanco, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Bacon, and Garlic-Ranch. They are open from 11am to 10pm and their menu can be found here.
14. Pizza Ponte
Another delicious place to get pizza is Pizza Ponte. They offer Sicilian-style pizza by the slice, Sandwiches, and Salads. My personal favorite pizza is the San Gennaro – Tomato sauce, mozzarella, fontina, sweet Italian sausage, onions, hot cherry peppers. They are open from 12pm to 9pm and their menu can be found here.
15. Lava Lounge at Rainforest Cafe
This is considered a lounge but they offer some great food options. They have everything from Soups, Salads, and Burgers to Pasta, Seafood, Beef, Pork, and Chicken. For being considered a lounge they have a better menu than some table service restaurants.
They are attached to the Rainforest Cafe and offer some fantastic views of Disney Springs looking towards the Landing Area. At night it is great to sit there and watch the big balloon go up and down and enjoy the lights, sights, and sounds of Disney Springs. They are open from 5pm to 8pm and their menu can be found here.
As you can tell there are a ton of great quick service dining options at Disney Springs. You can’t go wrong grabbing something from any of these places.
