When it comes to the perfect vacation, food is always at the forefront of our minds. One of the things that we always enjoy most is the prospect of devouring exciting new meals that we perhaps haven’t always tried before with our family. Traveling to Epcot in Disney World is by no means exempt from this due to its extensive and exciting plethora of offerings.
Due to it’s World Showcase and Future World developments, Epcot is lucky enough to play host to some of Disney World’s finest counter service restaurants. What sets Epcot apart from other dining options in the park is the sheer volume of restaurants available, fast, convenient service, and exciting availability of food. From unique themed restaurants to stunning settings, Epcot has it all. So here it is, five of the very best!
1. La Cantina San Angel
If its a Mexican flavor that you’re looking for during your vacation then this particular restaurant comes highly recommended. A quick-service restaurant nestled on the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon, it makes the most of its lakeside location with beautiful open-air seating for guests to utilize.
Whether you’re after lunch or dinner, the restaurant has plenty to offer its guests with a wide range of Mexican favorites available on the menu such as Tacos de Pescado, Nachos, Empanadas con Queso and Pollo Cascabel and for those of us who haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing true authentic Mexican, this is a great place to start.
For those of us that enjoy a cocktail, you reap the benefits of the restaurant’s exceptional specialty drinks. With an excellent offering, guests can find themselves sipping on Patron Cranberry Margarita’s, Mango Frozen Margarita’s, and Lime Frozen Margarita’s while enjoying the views of the lagoon. An experience here incorporates everything there is to love about a dining experience; great food, great drinks, and even better views.
