The Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt is rolling back into Epcot! The annual springtime scavenger hunt featuring your favorite characters in Easter egg form is set to return to Epcot’s World Showcase March 31st.
Guests wishing to participate can stop in at the World Traveler or Disney Traders to purchase a map and stickers.
Guests can locate the correct character egg and place the correct sticker on the map and then redeem it for a prize later. In the past the prize has been a character themed Easter Egg and there were several to choose from. The cost of the Egg Hunt which includes the map and prize was 9.99 last year.

Many don’t know this but you can pick your prize at the same location you purchased your map before you even start out on your scavenger hunt. It can save time not having to return to the same location later. This can be especially helpful if you have younger kids in tow that may get tired out before completing the hunt. If you want to complete the egg hunt first you can just return to the same location your purchased your map from and collect your prize afterward as well.
The large character eggs that are hidden throughout Epcot’s World Showcase and already been spotted by guests anxiously awaiting the official start of this annual Easter tradition. Scrooge Mc Duck is new this year and replaces Perry the Platypus. The rest of the regular gang are back but hiding in new locations. Some of the eggs in years past provided a bit of a challenge. Cast members are on hand to help out with hints if needed but they do encourage you to stick it out and look high and low first.

I just love the holidays at Disney! I cant wait to get over to the Grand Floridian and see their chocolate egg display, after I complete the scavenger hunt of course. I do really enjoy doing the different themed hunts throughout the year. The cute prizes are worth the cost of the egg hunt alone and finding the eggs is a lot of fun. Its not as easy as you would think either! There are plenty that are easy for the kids, but I love that a few are more hidden and a bit of a challenge. The egg hunt something that can be a lot of fun for the entire family.

These are affiliate links, so if you do decide to use any of them, I’ll earn a commission. But in all honesty, these are the exact items that I use and recommend to everyone, even my own family.
General Carry Items: These are probably some of the most important things that everyone should have with them at Disney World.
A Good Pair of Disney Sunglasses – (I use this cheap pair all the time)
Every Day Chapstick – (I always have this on me anyway)
Sunscreen – (This is my Every Day Carry Sunscreen Ladies)
Park Bag: I’ve seen lots of people go to Disney World and make the simple mistake of not coming prepared. You can pick up a nice Loungefly park bag like this one and save the day for your family.
A Good Pair Of Sandals: Ladies, there’s nothing like a good pair of sandals like these in the parks. That way when it rains and your feet get wet you aren’t stuck walking around in a wet pair of sneakers all day.
Portable Neck Fans: These are just the most amazing little invention that you NEED to have at least for the kiddos. They charge via USB and are highly recommended, especially if you are going in the summer heat. You can check them out over here on Amazon.
Planning Your Trip: I know that planning a trip can be a lot. If you want more help planning your next trip I 100% recommend using The Vacationeer as a travel agent. They go above and beyond for their clients and they are the only ones that I can say that I would trust to plan my family’s travel.
