Character Meet and Greets Coming Back to Disney!

meet and greets return

Do you miss the old meet and greets with your favorite Disney characters? Since the pandemic character meet and greets had been downgraded to “character sightings” . These sightings allowed guests to interact and take pictures with the characters but from a safe distance with no direct contact. Barriers were usually in place to ensure the safety for both the characters and guests. Most character sightings took place outdoors as well.

Meet and Greets Coming Soon to Disney Parks and Resorts

A lot of guests miss getting that hug from Pooh Bear or high Five from Mickey Mouse. You will be happy to know that starting as early as April 18th Disney is going to start bringing back the traditional meet and greets!

The meet and greets will resume in both Disneyland and Disney World. Disney Cruise Lines and Aulani will also be following as well!

Not all locations will immediately resume simultaneously. This will be done in waves throughout spring and summer.

Here are some of my favorite things to bring on my WDW Travels!

Thank you for reading this article. I hope you found it helpful as you plan your magical vacation. Here are some things that I used on my own magical trips and I hope you’ll also find them helpful as well.

These are affiliate links, so if you do decide to use any of them, I’ll earn a commission. But in all honesty, these are the exact items that I use and recommend to everyone, even my own family.

General Carry Items: These are probably some of the most important things that everyone should have with them at Disney World.

A Good Pair of Disney Sunglasses – (I use this cheap pair all the time)

Every Day Chapstick – (I always have this on me anyway)

Sunscreen – (This is my Every Day Carry Sunscreen Ladies)

Park Bag: I’ve seen lots of people go to Disney World and make the simple mistake of not coming prepared. You can pick up a nice Loungefly park bag like this one and save the day for your family.

A Good Pair Of Sandals: Ladies, there’s nothing like a good pair of sandals like these in the parks. That way when it rains and your feet get wet you aren’t stuck walking around in a wet pair of sneakers all day.

Portable Neck Fans: These are just the most amazing little invention that you NEED to have at least for the kiddos. They charge via USB and are highly recommended, especially if you are going in the summer heat. You can check them out over here on Amazon.

Planning Your Trip: I know that planning a trip can be a lot. If you want more help planning your next trip I 100% recommend using The Vacationeer as a travel agent. They go above and beyond for their clients and they are the only ones that I can say that I would trust to plan my family’s travel.

Moving Near Disney!?: Well, we did! And we could not have done it without the help of our Realtor Victor Nawrocki!
