Well, it’s official! Magic Kingdom has a brand new fireworks show for the 50th anniversary called Disney Enchantment. But it occurred to me that I get a lot whether Magic Kingdom has fireworks every night. So I figured I would write a blog post to address this specifically.

The answer is Yes, Magic Kingdom has a fireworks show every night called Disney Enchantment, which replaced the former fireworks show called Happily Ever After on October 1, 2021.

What Time Do The Fireworks Start at Magic Kingdom?

With the seasons the time that it gets dark changes and so does the time that the Magic Kingdom fireworks start. For example, as I’m writing this, it’s the heat of the summer and the fireworks are currently starting at 8 PM EST. However, that will change with the seasons. It’s always best to check your times guide, the MDE app or go to Disney’s Enchantment page to check the current time.

How Long Are The Disney Enchantment Fireworks?

According to Disney’s website, the fireworks run time is 15 minutes. You’ll want to make sure you get there early though in order to get a good spot.

Yes, there are occasions that Magic Kingdom will cancel fireworks. Currently, there is no fireworks show at Animal Kingdom and we don’t expect there to be anytime soon. Mostly due to the way that the fireworks would upset the animals and their natural environment.

Are There Fireworks Every Night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

There are actually two separate fireworks shows currently at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One is for those big Star Wars fans in your family called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. The other one is a longtime favorite called Fantasmic.

This is a fireworks and laser show that incorporates many Disney favorites and Mickey’s fight against the evil forces of many Disney Villains.

Currently, both of these shows have been put on hold temporarily. However, The Disney’s Hollywood Studios nighttime projection show, Wonderful World of Animation, brings your favorite animated movie scenes to life and is currently running every night at park close and runs for about 12 minutes.

How Much Does Disney World Spend On Fireworks?

Disney World is the second-largest purchaser of pyrotechnics, second to the US Military. Although we don’t know exactly how much money Disney World spends nightly on fireworks shows because it is confidential, there are professional estimates ranging from $41,000 to $55,000 per show.
